At school, Sophie's teacher has been reading the class the "Addy" series of the American Girl Doll books and Sophie is OBSESSED.

The other day she came home from school with two new library books, one on the underground railroad, and one on the emancipation proclamation. When I asked about them, she said, "Yes, I'm very interested in studying African-American history. Plus, the Underground Railroad is just FASCINATING! Did you know..."

I feel like I'm back in school (and she's my teacher) :)
