Dentist report: No more strait jackets!

Even after her first consult with the new dentist, Sophie then had to be put in a strait jacket for her sealants. I’m so proud to report that today for her check up cleaning, she had NO ISSUES! I sat right beside her and dad was there too and I held her hand and she let the lady clean her teeth, scrape off tarter, AND she was very patient and cooperative when they took multiple x-rays as well! YIPPEE!

We were told that she has to get a retainer because her bite is messed up, and later she will need braces but it is what it is. I don’t get why the orthodontist side of the practice only sees children during school hours (9-4:30) but whatever, we’ll have to deal.

Sophie passed up an ice cream reward in favor of renting “Stick It” (a gymnastics movie) which we watched over and Grandma and Grandpa’s house. Papa was so enthralled by the story line he fell asleep:)
